Alderney Renewable Energy announce the appointment of Mr Nick Horler as Chief Executive Officer

Today 11 May 2012, Alderney Renewable Energy Limited announced that Mr Paul Clark, co-founder of Alderney Renewable Energy Limited, had decided to step down as Chief Executive Officer to assist with the future development of the business.

Alderney Renewable Energy Limited announced the appointment of an existing non-executive director, Mr Nick Horler (the former Chief Executive Officer of Scottish Power) as the replacement Chief Executive Officer.  Mr Clark has stated that he welcomes the appointment of Mr Horler as the new Chief Executive Officer of Alderney Renewable Energy Limited and believes that his previous energy market experience will accelerate the development of the business.

The Board of Alderney Renewable Energy Limited have expressed their gratitude to Mr Clark for the vision and immense personal commitment shown by him to the business since its inception and look forward to his continued support for the business as a Consultant.  Mr Clark's commitment to the company as a shareholder remains unchanged.
